Sweet! I was really hoping someone would run this at GenCon, it was sitting on the table and I saw many folks pick it up. Never saw it on the board though. :(

I played it off-schedule at GenCon and it was great. I'm looking forward to taking a closer look at all the playbooks and move sheets.

Bit of a delay, but I plan to get the PDF out on Sunday.

Awesome! Yay!

First of many questions: what's the Operator's deal? He's just the awesomeness machine able to do anything? What's his idea?

An Operator is a modern day elite spec ops professional, trained in lots of stuff, like a SEAL or Delta operator. The whole team is made up of Operators, so there are lots of options for some diversity.

I'm not sure if it's in the pdf somewhere but I can't find how you determine starting operational effectiveness (oe) for your squad. Any thoughts on that?

John put this on the blog:

Coming soon, but not done yet:
- The new Unit creation sheet. You can use the old one for now, and use "profile" for "operational effectiveness" in 2.0.

Yeah, that was an oversight on my part. For OP, consider it to be +0 for a standard unit, +1 for a special unit, and an additional +1 for a veteran unit (so a veteran special unit would have +2). When you have especially effective support, or a significant tactical advantage, take +1 OP for the engagement roll (this is rare).

Excited to see this! Now I just need to figure out what sort of thing to run with it. Anyone have one-shots, or Dungeon World-esque "Battle Starters"?

Jason Morningstar's scenario is cool.
