If you have the original form template I can see what I can do.

Okay! It's here: (OpenDocument drawing file)

I don't know much about the ways of PDF forms, but I can have a look into it. It might be a webpage that generates a PDF is easier, hmm...

I'm glad the game went well!

For discussion, there is more activity over in the G+ community:

I usually go for 3 luck for a one shot.

For the fights, you need to make sure that you take account of everything that is going on and call for, or make your own, moves accordingly. Do not automatically have them roll kick some ass just because they are trying to hurt the monster - it's specifically for when they are in close, trading blows.

Pro-tip: Clever hunters arrange things so that when they attack the monster, it cannot harm them back.

More generally, hunters are pretty good at taking damage and surviving, so don't worry too much about it.

For me, it's definitely the second. Different characters will each have their own way of doing things (although some ways can work for everybody).

For the wall of force problem - a monster like that could perhaps come up with a counter if the same trick gets used over and over.

I know it's very late to offer corrections, but you mention Olivia Dunham from Fringe, but you spell the last name Denholm.

Typo spotting is still appreciated, even if it's late for that particular revision.

I'll probably be running a game at the NerdSoCal meet up at the end of October, so flip me something!

Looks cool.
I don't suppose you could give me some feedback, (oh, that sounds very passive-aggressive. I in no way mean it like that, this was a legitimate and hopeful request) this is my first MOTW homebrew. i really like the game and would like to make this class (playbook) as good as it can be. also, how do i get it in playbook format?

I wasn't sure if you wanted feedback, but I'm happy to provide it if you do.

- The ratings lines are somewhat on the high side; given that you only have two move picks, I guess there's an implicit +1 to ratings in there? However, the line with three +2s is notably better than any other choice so I'd suggest dropping one of them to just +1.
- I love the old dogs/new tricks move, that's a good way to emphasise how good the hunter is
- For knowledge of old, I'd suggest something more evocative than a +1 bonus. Maybe add some new things that they can ask, like "Tell me something I learned the last time I fought one of these".
- I'd add a couple more moves that bring the Broken's past into play. Perhaps the ability to call on favours from people they've saved or hunters they've worked with?
- There should be something about why they retired and why they've let themselves be pulled back in. Those could be extra things to decide at the beginning, like the Chosen picks their fate. I know some of these might come up in the history section, but having them up front will focus the character some more.

Oh, and you can find the template on my website's files section:

Would you like a shirt with Monster of the Week art on it? If yes, then check out my spreadshirt store.

Currently up: the cover art and my generic games logo monster.

I'm polling on G+ for which hunter shirts should be added. Go and +1 what you'd like on the poll post if you have a favourite.

Is there some way to acquire The Divine or was that kickstarter only?

You could ask me! Or just go to where all generally available Apocalypse Engine playbooks are compiled for great sharing.

My RP society's going to be looking for people to run one-shots soon, and I've got an online group I can playtest stuff with outside of that, so I'd be happy to help out. :)
