Heh, I'm still new to DW. Having spirit magic ( as the common magic is known, at least in the early editions ) as a basic move would probably work nicely.
Gonna think about this some more now.

hacks / Dungeon World / Glorantha World ?

I'm pondering a conversion of DW to fit one of my favourite settings, Runequest's Glorantha, however it strays quite a bit from standard fantasy rpg tropes.
Most of the character classes would fit I think, cleric as a low powered rune priest / dedicated follower. Reskin wizard a little to fit the setting. Now I'm almost wishing we had the barbarian ( although the druid is awsome ) - might be able a wrangle the ranger as Praxian types.
One thing that's got me thinking is magic - almost everyone has access to some basic forms of magic such as bladesharp to boost damage, a little healing or armour boost. Would these best be represented as generic moves which anyone could take ?
Membership of a cult is pretty univeral, but I figure that could be represented by bonfs, or maybe an alternative to alignment.
These are just my first thoughts. Any comments ?

I've just had a (probably) weird idea for giants -
Mountain spawn - every mountain has a seed, and when the conditions are right that seed will grow to form a creature.
It's rumoured some dwarves dug too deep and found a seed. They're trying to germinate it.

Just finished reading the DW beta ( thanks Adam for giving me access ), looking very good - I feel even more justified in bumping my pledge for the softcover. I was pretty much burnt out on fantasy rpgs, but this might just be rekindling the flame.
The classes seem solid, not sure if I want more spells available to the cleric and wizard, although I guess they should be pretty easy to add. The Druid looks like fun, wish I could play it but I'm always the dm :(.
The APs on the forum have helped a lot in my understanding ( thanks guys ), I may try and convince my wife to play a few sessions - we haven't done any 1 to 1 in an eternity. It does seem geared for more players, but someone ( can't remember who sorry ) did suggest bonds to other people / organisations - I'm thinking a church, local lord etc which should work just as well.
